On the Cross
The crowd going with the Lord Jesus was heading towards a hill outside Jerusalem called Golgotha.
Golgotha was a rocky part of that hill resembling a scull. Probably this hill was not far from the city, taking into consideration that the romans liked to perform these kind of acts in public places, as a warning for lawbreakers.
The soldiers had Jesus put on the cross and nailed his hands and feet to the cross.
