During this time, a group of people with swords, and clubs entered the garden, and Judas Iscariot was leading them. He approached the Lord Jesus and kissed Him. The Lord Jesus said to him:

Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?

Jesus knew the plan Judah had. Although people came prepared to catch the Lord Jesus, they did not need all this because He was not trying to escape. He knew that God's plan for Him was to be caught.

Peter, who wanted to be a faithful disciple, drew out the sword and cut off the ear of one of the people, but the Lord Jesus told him that what he did was not right and healed the enemy's ear.

The soldiers, with swords and clubs in their hands, gathered around the Lord Jesus and arrested Him. The disciples were horrified, they feared that they would be arrested too, so they fled.

Just hours before, they promised to remain faithful. Once again they made a mistake!
