David was lying in a wet bed, thoughts running through his head. How awkward. What should he do? He had to change. What if he woke the boys up? Why did he have to be upstairs on a bunk bed? The bed squeaked, Ondra got up.
"What stinks here?"
"Someone wet the bed."
David lied in his bed pretending he was not there. But the boys were already awake. Ada climbed up the bunk bed.
"Did you wet the bed?"
"It's just sweat," David tried to make an excuse.
"Then why does it stink so much?" Ada raised the duvet.
"Yuck, you touched it," Ondra shouted.
"Yuck," Adam shouted, running around the room with his hand raised.
"What is all this noise?" The teacher entered the room.
"David wet his bed," Ada and Ondra shouted at the same time.
Other boys heard the noise from the corridor and came, wondering what is happening.
"Don't say it," David begged.
But the boys immediately shouted it all out loud. Now their whole class would know.
"Calm down and everyone back to your rooms," the teacher told the children. "It's because of all that coke last night. David just forgot to go to the bathroom, right? ”
David nodded.
"Well, you see, it can happen to anyone that they forget and you make such a fuss out of it. David will wash himself, the duvet will get washed, and that's it. Come on, David. "
In the end, they managed the disaster. Just as well that he teacher had come and stood up for David. David was sitting in clean clothes in the dining room. Nobody said anything about the accident anymore. David remembered what he had read last night. It was way worse for Jesus, they laughed at him, and no one stood up for him. It's great to have someone who would stand up for one when they laugh at him.
