Do you like to get gifts ? When do you get gifts ? You probably get gifts for your birthday or at Christmas, or maybe someone gives you a gift because they love you. God sent a special gift to you and me. He knew we needed a Saviour because we all have done things that make God sad. This is called sin. We read about it in God’s true book, the Bible.

An angel came to see a young woman named Mary. The angel told Mary not to be afraid. The angel had good news for Mary. The angel told Mary she would have a baby. She was to name her baby Jesus. Mary knew God would help her take care of baby Jesus.
