I watched a tiny boy the other day as he spread his chubby fingers in front of his face and thought he was hiding from his mother. How silly, you say. But sometimes older boys and girls, and even grown-up people, try to hide from God this way! Do you remember how Adam and Eve tried to hide from God after they had sinned in the Garden? They were afraid, and hid themselves among the trees.

We cannot hide from God. God sees us. God knows all about us. And God loves us. He has provided a Savior, the Lord Jesus, to save us from sins.
