Chad had the measles. He was lonely having to stay in bed all day while the other boys played. But one day a dove flew onto the sill of his open window. The dove never left as long as Chad was ill. “He makes me think of our nearest friend, the Holy Spirit,” said Chad’s mother. “You know before the Lord Jesus went back to Heaven He promised to send us another Comforter, God the Holy Spirit. He is our Stay-Within Friend. He lives in the heart of everyone who had received the Lord Jesus as Savior.”

“I’m ashamed that I have been lonely,” decided Chad. “I have my very closest friend living right in my heart!”
