They were once taught in religion class about Jesus, how people hated and arrested him. Teri listened to it. Jesus would certainly understand her. He didn't do anything wrong either, and they were all mean to him. They laughed at him, and even beat him. They didn't beat Teri, but apart from that it was the same.

Right at that moment, Teri was sitting at her desk thinking about the Lord Jesus. And it was important to her.

Their teacher had handed out apples to the children a while ago. She told them that they would make candlesticks from them during the following lesson. She had also said that they had to be careful with the apples, because she didn't have more, and whoever had damaged the apple would not have a candlestick and would get an F.

Of course, Jakub did something stupid, he threw the apple on the ground and then squeezed it with a chair. That was typical of him. Now Jakub was afraid he would get scolded and on top of that get an F. He sat at his desk, holding the mashed apple and almost crying.

Teri knew that she had one more apple as a snack in her bag. Had it happened to her friend, she would have given her the apple right away and everything would be fine. But Jakub was one of the worst boys. He was the one who kept taking her things from her and often annoyed her for no reason.

And right at that moment Teri was wondering whether she should have helped Jakub. She was angry with Jakub, but at the same time she felt sorry for him. "What would the Lord Jesus do?" Teri said to herself.
