Five loaves and two fish
Jesus
talked to the people for a long time. The people were getting hungry! He told His disciples
to give them something to eat. The only food they found was one boy’s lunch
. Jesus had the people sit in groups. He thanked God
the Father for the boy’s lunch. The disciples passed around the lunch and all the people ate. There was even food left over. Twelve full baskets!
What was in the lunch? It was only 5 little loaves
of bread and 2 little fish
!
Jesus did a miracle. Only God could take a little lunch and feed a big group of people. Jesus is our powerful God! The people were amazed at His power!
