The Storm
It was a very bad storm
. The disciples
were afraid. Where was Jesus
? Jesus was not afraid. He was still sleeping in the back of the boat
. Jesus is God
. He had power to stop the storm.
The disciples told Jesus to wake up. They said, “Don’t you care that we might drown?” Yes, Jesus cared about the disciples. Jesus also cares about you. He cares about you because He loves you very much.
Jesus stood up in the boat and said, “Peace be still!” The storm stopped right away. The wind stopped blowing. The waves stopped splashing into the boat. It was a miracle.
The disciples saw Jesus take care of them. Jesus is God the Son. The disciples saw His amazing power. God has great power.
