Jesus is the Son of God. He lives in heaven with God. In heaven, everything is beautiful and perfect, and the angels are worshipping the Lord God and his Son there.

Jesus could have stayed in heaven not caring about us. Or he could have sacrificed himself and come to the earth to be with us.
