In the previous lesson we have been thinking about how to spend Sunday. What about the other days of the week? What did the Lord Jesus do while he was a boy here on Earth?

The earthly parents of the Lord Jesus were Mary and Joseph. Joseph was a carpenter and for many years the Lord Jesus must have helped Joseph in his carpenter workshop.

In Heaven, before He came down to Earth, the Lord Jesus was surrounded by angels whom He had created and who were His servants. They obeyed His every command, but now Jesus was obeying a man and a woman, people that He Himself had created.

He was actually obeying perfectly one of God’s commandments.
