Dad told Joey he did not need to be afraid. Jesus would be with Joey. Jesus would help Joey sleep in his new room. Jesus would help Joey not to be afraid of the dark.

Joey asked Jesus to help him. Joey remembered his memory verse: “…The Lord is my helper; I will not fear….” Joey knew he could trust Jesus to take care of him. And Joey fell asleep in his new room.
