The Bible
tells us that before we were even thinking about God
and how we could be with Him, God was already preparing a way. The Lord Jesus
Christ came to earth as a little baby
, lived a perfect life and paid the punishment that you and I deserve.
The Lord Jesus did not stay dead after dying on the cross
. He rose again, proving once and for all that He is stronger than death, stronger than anyone else. He is the only ONE who we should trust to save us.
If you have never asked for forgiveness from God before now, you can pray to Him. In your own words say that you are sorry for your sins and that you want Him to forgive you. He will do that! He promises to forgive anyone who comes to Him because the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again just like our verse reminds us.
