Have you ever helped make cookies? What do you need to make cookies? You need sugar, flour, butter, eggs and even more things. When God made the world He didn’t need anything. He just spoke and the world was made. God created the world out of nothing. The Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” [Genesis 1:1]

On day 4 God put the lights in the sky. God made the sun to shine in the day. God made the moon to shine at night.

On day 5 God made the fish that swim in the water, and the birds that fly in the sky.
